Italian balsamic vinegars are made from Trebbiano or Lambrusco grapes and originate from Modena, Italy. They are aged at least 18 years in oak, ash or cherry barrels. Dark balsamic goes through a caramelizing process which gives it a distinctly deep, rich and velvety taste. White balsamic is not caramelized and has a sweeter, clearer taste. No additional sugars are added to our whites.

One of my favorites! It is thicker than many of the other balsamic vinegars — just the right thickness to drizzle on salads or meats. It isn’t too sweet but it has a full-bodied flavor. I highly recommend it!
